SCOTA and F1SCA Formula One Stock Cars and a few BriSCA too
Nearly every picture on this site has been sent to me by race fans. Rick Young and Colin Herridge have sent me lots of great pit view shots of SCOTA and F1SCA cars taken between 1975 and 1979. On this page, I list them all. To view the picture, click the link. Many thanks to Rick and Colin for taking the time and trouble to get me these great images.
The Driscoll brothers, Pat and Denis, were top drivers in SCOTA and raced with success in BriSCA too. Pete Tilden's dad worked at their tyre shop on the A13 in Beckton and Pete was fortunate to go along with Pat and Denis to the races during the late sixties and seventies. Pete has some great pictures from those days and they are included here.
On other pages you'll find photos and information supplied by Jon Driscoll, son of Pat and nephew of Denis. Jon has helped with additional information and great photos, from their times with BriSCA, on this page too.
Finally, Lyndsay McGuire, a big Driscoll fan in the sixties, has sent a fine colour shot of Denis from 1968.
