Pete's Stock Car Pages

The Driscoll brothers, Pat and Denis, were top drivers in SCOTA and raced with success in BriSCA too. Pete Tilden's dad worked at their tyre shop on the A13 in Beckton and Pete was fortunate to go along with Pat and Denis to the races during the late sixties and seventies. Pete has some great pictures from those days and they are included here.

• 81 Pat Driscoll - from the left we see Pat, his mechanic Tommy, Pete Tilden’s Dad and Denis. The photo was taken at Ian Barker’s yard on the morning of the 1970 Northampton World Qualifier. The roof has been painted yellow and numbers changed.
• 81 Pat Driscoll - Pat went to Northampton and won heat and final in Denis' car. This secured Pat a Semi-Final berth. Here is Pat with the final winners trophy.
